Teresa M. Staal-Cowley
Teresa M. Staal-Cowley has had a passion for the visual and lettering arts since she was a small child. She studied painting in her first art class when she was ten years old. She continued studying art in middle school and high school. In college, she studied fine art, art history and calligraphy. A college professor encouraged her to incorporate calligraphy into her paintings. Teresa has been exhibiting her mixed media calligraphy art at public events since the mid-1970s. She has found that those who will not attend church, read the Bible, speak with Pastors or Priests or Christians will speak to an artist, attend an art event and read scripture and positive quotes in her mixed media calligraphy art. Since the year 2000, she discovered the powerful significance of creating art banners and scriptures relating to banners for the LORD found in the Bible.
