Book Overview
A few of my poems were written in the years prior to 2019. Many of these poems were written in the years of the pandemic. It was an outlet to handle some of the losses my family experienced through this time.
Many friends and family members encouraged me in my writing. My wonderful husband was the one who encouraged me the most. I would give him my poems to read and critique. I always knew I would get honest feedback.
I always said I would not seek publication until I felt God’s nudge. I know God gave me the words. As I sat at my computer, sometimes in the early morning hours, I would type. Often, the words would form over several days. I tried to stop a few times, but God was not done providing the words.
