Everyone’s Favorite Christmas Song- Do You Hear What I Hear

The song is announcing the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. That He is here…. Do you hear what I hear?

The good news is when the Christmas song is put away until next year, we still have our King! In Revelation chapter 1:13, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.

Also in Revelation 2:1, To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands.’ In my book and this blog I have written that as a reminder…. He is here with us and in us! Christ in us hope of glory, Colossians 1:27, my paraphrase.

How awesome is that! I get so excited when I meditate on that scripture. The strength I have is His, the love I have to give is His. Anything good in me is His. But I get to share in His glory. Nothing in this life beats that!!!!!

In John 10:14, by I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. Also in John 10:27, My sheep hear My voice and I know them, and they follow Me.

I have to ask how we are to follow Jesus Christ if we cannot hear His voice? Yes, I know He has to give us ears to hear. If you can not hear His still small beautiful Voice…. ask Him for help!!!!! We have the word of God as our solid foundation, but His Spirit guides in most wonderful ways when we have ears to hear.

It is okay to make mistakes, so do not let fear hinder us. He is God and can fix anything! He is a Great God. But do not miss hearing and seeing what the Spirit of God is speaking to you today!  If it was not an issue, then this scripture would not have been written in Hebrews! Hebrews 3:15, while it is said:” Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the day of rebellion.”

Verse 3:19 of Hebrews also exhorts us to: So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Let us continue to follow our Lord and receive from the Lover of our soul- the inconceivable and live the unbelievable. ( The song written by Stephen Curtis Chapman- Great Expectations). I pray we go into 2014 with ears to hear Him and eyes to see what He is doing by the Spirit of God and the courage and boldness to obey.

I Don’t Get It! This Is A God-Thing!

Did you ever ask the Holy Spirit what does that mean in the letters of Paul? I have…. many, many times!

In the beginning of 2013, I wrote to join me in the quest of the upward high calling of God in Christ Jesus as written by Paul in chapter three in Philippians.

In Colossians 1:24, Paul writes, I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church.

In Ephesians 3:13, Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Was Paul stumbling on the high calling of God in Christ Jesus in his sufferings, afflictions or tribulations? He was taking his own cross that the Holy Spirit gave him in following our Lord Jesus Christ.  He somehow saw the filling up or completing the body of Christ in his “thorns in his side.”

In Corinthians, Paul was asking for the removal of these thorns in his side. Now as time went on he started to see the purpose of God in having them.

It has to be the cross of Christ before us. What does the message of the cross mean to us?  Yes, it should mean our salvation which we are very grateful for…… but there is more……

In Revelation 6:9, When He (Jesus Christ) opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

There are numerous brave Christians in prison in countries where Jesus Christ’s name is forbidden. If you have a bible, you a marked man or woman for prison or death.  They are in great persecution, even unto their life….. However, the growth of Christians in hiding is growing in these countries. Jesus is appearing to many in these countries….. What are the prisoners suffering doing for the body of Christ?

This coming year, may we know more of the meaning to live a life unto God in Christ in complete abandonment to His cause.

Let us prepare our hearts this season to follow our Lord, the Lion of Judah. In Romans 5:6; For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

America, please I pray make room for the King in your hearts this day. There was no room for the Babe Christ many years ago…… Let it be not seen by Our Heavenly Father in this day that in the hearts of His people there is no room for His King, in Jesus’s name, I ask.

Remember, Jesus Christ had not risen from the dead, yet. Jesus Christ had not ascended into heaven, yet. Jesus Christ had not been glorified, yet. The Spirit of Grace had not been sent to the earth, yet…. when Jesus Christ was born in that little town of Bethlehem….. America, there is no excuse  for  us now.  This country was founded on our belief in that Baby King born over two thousand years ago….. Clean out our hearts and make room today! Let us have ears to hear His Spirit TODAY!

In All Your Getting This Christmas…..!!!

Proverbs 4:5 says: Get Wisdom! Get Understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of My mouth. Proverb 4:7 says: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding!

In all the hustle and bustle of sales advertising regarding Christmas, we can easily get caught up in jargon. However, it is Jesus’ birthday. I asked Him this morning what He wanted.  I heard the scripture John 10:10, Jesus speaking to the crowds, the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that  they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly .

I believe that the Lord would rather we give Him to all this Christmas! It does not rack up our credit cards and we do not have to wait in the long lines. However, it does take courage to speak so simply the message of complete Hope that lasts past Christmas day… His Gift of Himself lasts forever.

In our materialistic age, Jesus Christ is STILL the best Gift. I pray that this season instead of giving gifts that perish we can share the Greatest Gift ever! JESUS CHRIST!  He never breaks down or leaves. He is here 24-7 still saying- Come to Me, all  you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

I think the man that Peter and John healed in Acts chapter 3 was quite glad that they had no silver or gold. Acts 3:6, Then Peter said,  “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”      They reached for the guy and he leaped up and walked!  His life was changed from that day on being touched by Jesus Christ.  Gold and silver could not  change or help him past when the money for food ran out. He would have to return to begging again. This man’s life is changed forever. God will honor the name of His Beloved Son, when we pray in faith for others.

Let us who know the Lord, remember to give the best Gift ever. Saying Happy Birthday! Here is my gift to You, Lord, another that chooses to believes in You, the Son of God! Emmanuel!

Pray that we may see His opportunities before us and have boldness and courage to give Jesus Christ in what may be a hostile environment.

Happy getting for Him this Christmas Season!

RELAX, Life Without Mistakes Is Not What Our King Seeks!

How can I live in perfect works before you Lord? You know me…. Sometimes my day is full of mistakes from the time I open my eyes till I close them at night.

What do you mean, Lord? What are the perfect works our Heavenly Father is seeking?

I bet you thought the same thing as I did when I read our Beloved King’s fifth love letter to us. The Letter to the Sardis Church in Revelation 3:1.

Learn what the word perfection means to our God. It is not the American standard of perfect.

What does He mean when He sees we have a name that is alive but we are dead? Hmmmm.

I have some insight into His meaning and what He seeking from us. We all want to please the Lord. It would be a horrible time to run in our race and finally  get to the finish line. Then we are told we ran the wrong race!!!

Get my book to help make the Book of Revelation easy to understand. Learn our Heavenly Father’s language of symbolism.

Jesus Christ, The King Of All Kings And Lord Of All Lords, The Judge Of His Creation ,my book  may help you along with your journey with Our Great God, The Great I AM.

Jesus told us in Matthew 5:48, Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

There is an expectation from our God for us to be like Him? How can we meet these expectations?  What provision did He give us to allow us to reach this ascended state?  Do you know?

I have some solutions from these many questions that I have asked the Holy Spirit over and over again in my book.

Hey, Jesus Christ, is not looking at our mistakes. He knows our flesh! He is seeking a much greater substance from us!  Open the Bible and get my book!

What Happened To The Crowds?

It is written in Acts 1:14 that there were only 120 in the upper room preparing for the promise of the Father: the baptism of the Holy Spirit in fire.

So what happened to the crowds that followed Jesus?  A lot left Him after His word to the crowds that they had to eat His body and drink His blood in John 6. They didn’t understand Him.  Then a lot left Him at Calvary. They didn’t understand Him. But He did show Himself to over 500 people after He rose from the dead as Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:6. So what happened to all the five hundred plus people that saw Jesus had risen from the dead? Why were they not in the upper room?

It is hard to follow the King of ALL KINGS! It is not a popular journey. However, our Heavenly Father has given us His Holy Spirit to be within us to strengthen and equip us for the walk that lies ahead as we follow the Great I AM.

I remember meditating day in and day out on this most significant treasure I found in the Word. It was a mystery to me. I repeated daily thinking that would help me understand it.  I am still growing in this scripture after numerous years… Galatians 2:20, I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.

I still love this scripture. It captures my heart as the first time it jumped out of the page of the Bible towards me.

Well, we are in the fourth love letter from our Great Savior and King. He shows Himself as the One who knows all our stuff. We are quite foolish to think we can hide anything from the King who has fire in His eyes and has walked in our humanity and overcame.  He was faithful even unto death.

That is why I bring up Galatians 2:20…. we have to be faithful unto even our death…. That is not the words of entertainment to our ears and pleasant to our flesh or our soul.  Now His grace is perfected in our weakness as I wrote about previously in 2 Corinthians 12:9. We have died spiritually with Christ. We now  have been empowered to overcome our flesh. We allow its wants and desires to be dead. We are now striving to be obedient to His Spirit as He fashions us into the image of the Son of God.  This is our Heavenly Father’s desire…..

If  we do not let the distractions, pressure and demands of the worldly spirit, Jezebel, to intimidate us, we shall overcome….The worldly spirit wants to tickle our ears so we ignore the leading of the Holy Spirit.

How do we overcome and know what is the deception of Jezebel and what is the Truth?—–STUDY THE BIBLE!!!!!!

Get my book. Learn how to discern the counterfeit spirit of Christ.  What does Jesus mean when He said that if we overcome we will reign with Him? Is that now or later?  What is the Morningstar?

Again, so many questions. The Holy Spirit has your answers. He has answered some of my questions in my book, Jesus Christ, The King Of Kings And The Lord Of  Lords And The Judge Of His Creation.

In any marriage, the couple will look at you and say: YES!!!!!! There is plenty more than just saying I do at the altar!! Some of  marriage  is not so much fun either as we are made into one flesh as the scripture says. But then the couples smile and usually say it is and was worth it.

I believe that is a great way to look at our walk with our Lord!  It is not just about saying I believe in Jesus Christ at the altar or the front of the church. Don’t get deceived!!  Get my book as I share some of the ways I have been tempted to go the easy way and not the way of Jesus.
