There  was a shepherd who God sent to deliver a message a long time ago…… God is the Word and His Word is life and alive from yesterday, and today and for evermore.

Can  His Word for us this day be from the past to forevermore? His Word is relevant…. He has not changed….. He intends us to change as we draw near to Him. This happens by His glory found in His Word.

The heart of man and woman is as deceitful as it was in the beginning, but God has not changed. He wants us too…..

So let’s see what He has to say today!  Hebrews 4:7 speaks: again He designates a certain day, saying in David, Today, after such a long time, as it has been said: Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.

This Amos spoke as instructed from God in chapter 4:6- Seek the Lord and live!  

Amos’s  prior chapter reveals the Lord’s heart as He  speaks in 3:6-13, Also I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places, Yet you have not returned to Me, says the Lord.

I also withheld rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city,  I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part withered. So two or three  cities wandered to another city to drink water, but they were not satisfied; yet you have not returned to Me, says the Lord.

I blasted you with blight and mildew, when your gardens increased, your vineyards, your fig trees, and your olive trees, the locust devoured them; yet you have no returned to Me, says the Lord.

I sent among you a plague after the manner of Egypt; the young men I killed with a sword, along with your captive horses; I made the stench of your camps come up into your nostrils; yet you have not returned to Me, says the Lord. 

I overthrew some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning; yet you  have not returned to Me, says the Lord. 

Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel; Because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel! 

For behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind, who declares to man what his thought is, and makes morning darkness, who treads the high places of earth- the Lord of hosts is His name.

He then speaks in Amos 4:6-15,- Seek the Lord and live! Lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, with no one to quench it in Bethel- You who turn justice to wormwood, and lay righteousness in the earth!

He made Pleiades and Orion, He turns the shadow of death into morning and makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth; the Lord is His name.

He rains ruin on the strong, so that fury comes upon the fortress.  

They hate the one who rebukes at the gate, and they abhor the one who speaks uprightly.

Therefore because you tread down the poor and take grain taxes from him, though you have built houses of hewn stone, yet you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink wine from them.

For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins; afflicting the just and taking bribes; diverting the poor from justice at the gate.

Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, for it is an evil time.  

Seek good and not evil, that you may live; so the Lord God of hosts will be with you, as you have spoken. Hate evil, love good; establish justice in the gate. It may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

This little book from Amos is very awesome….I hope you sit down and read it.  Though it is written and found in the Book of Prophets, it is a view of God speaking to a hardened heart generation……

It is the whole counsel of God, for He does not change, we are to change…. This helps us understand His ways. If the Old Testament was to be irrelevant for today, Holy Spirit would have not saved all books as He has over two thousand years…..

We can’t use 2 Chronicles 7:14 for us and throw harder exhortation away found in the other books, especially the books of the prophets……

I hear Malachi used a lot for offerings though…….hmmmmm.

Can we learn to adhere to the whole counsel of God which He has left us?….. Who makes the cake without all the ingredients and with out the heat of the oven…… Holy Spirit is the fire…. and we are…….? Part grain and part fat offering?

We know the Day of the Lord is terrible and awesome….. Awesome for believers and terrible for those who lifted their fist towards the Lord….

But as of right now, this is not His Day ,YET!

In reading Amos, I am forever grateful for the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, shedding His blood and washing away our sins. Do you believe?   You believe and live according to His Spirit and Truth, right? YAY!!

Nonetheless as written, we take heed to the knowledge in Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever…….There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist……(Isaiah 11:1-5).

The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is in us and the same Spirit who is described in the above scripture resides inside of us who believe….. 

We must know the whole counsel of the Lord.  A good healthy dose of medicine of  the fear of the Lord  should  be established in our heart’s foundational belief. This is the same Jesus Christ who is coming back and is with us now!  This is His mighty Holy Spirit……..  He is not a feeling. He is the firey power of God….. He is the all knowing and seeing Lord Jesus Christ.

The main point is Jesus Christ took the wrath of God, but we must not be ignorant in knowing  the fear of the Lord…The fear of the Lord is more of giving Him all our honor due to all He is and was and is to come. We do not want to trample on the precious blood of Jesus Christ.  We must hold His sacrifice precious….. We live by this scripture, right?  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.

How do we do that ?  By faith in  talking to Holy Spirit to show us !!! For is is written: John 14:26; But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to remembrance all things that I said to you.

So what is suppose to flow out of our belly? The same Spirit that is written in Isaiah 11…..

Let us see God’s purpose for  His Spirit to dwell in us and be with us for now and forever…..

Ezekiel chapter 47:1-12 reveals the inheritance for His people….First, Ezekiel was shown  the instructions to rebuild the temple….. which is symbolic of the temple of the Lord that is now being built in us for Him….. as written in 2 Corinthians, ( check it out).

Then from the throne comes this river…..which is greater and mightier than any found on this earth…..And did you know this river is to heal the nations?

Let us read on this special Holy Writ: Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple towards the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar  , ( remember, Jesus Christ is the Door and His sacrifice allowed the Door of heaven to be opened to man again, cool huh?).

He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side.  

And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters came up to my ankles. 

Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. 

Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was to deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.  

He said to me, son of man, have you seen this? Then he brought me and returned  me to the bank of the river. 

When I returned, there,  along the bank of the river, were very many trees on one and the other. 

Then he said to me: This water flows towards the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea, its waters are healed. 

And it shall be that everything that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.

It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi, to En Englaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many. 

But its swamps and marches will not be healed; they will be given over to salt. 

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their waters flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.

This is also confirmed in the Book of Revelation, chapter 22:1-2: And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb….. In the middle of its street, on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for healing of the nations.

As Jesus was walking a long while, He took a break by a well in Samaria. He was thirsty and a woman came to the well to draw water…. He asked her for some water: Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman? For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. 

Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given  you living water. 

The woman said to Him, Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?  Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?

Jesus answered, and said to her, Whoever drinks from this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. 

The woman said to Him, Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw…..

Jesus said, go call your husband, and come here……

The woman answered and said, I have no husband.

Jesus said to her, You have said well, I have no husband, for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.   

The woman said to Him, Sir, I percieve you are a prophet….( John 4:9-19).

Before we go to Jesus for this Water of Life, we must confess and repent of how we may have more than five idols in our lives….. Our God wants us to cling to Him as our Everything….. If we cling to any but Him, we are probably going to pass by this Spirit of Life in which we desperately need…… Do not look at this woman as so below us, our heart may have many other lovers before our King….. He must be number One and all else bend thier knee to Him.  We hold ourselves back from His great neverending eternal life which flows through us in His Spirit and by His Spirit. We are the ones who block the flow of His Spirit, not Him…. We are the ones who have ears that do not hear Him because they are tuned to our idols and distractions.  He still speaks…… He still is speaking to His beloved…… Watch out though for it is written His Word is also as a hammer and fire…..He is not to be mocked or taken lightly.  Do not mistake His longsuffering and patience for His approval of things that should not be in our lives or resident in our hearts- for this is HIS HOME!

We must come clean and washed anew by His blood….. and then we  can do a high jump into His Spirit, the River of Life.

John chapter 6, Jesus Christ revealed to all that He was the Living Bread that came from heaven….. So we partake of Him, right?  All of Him, we live from His fullness,…… Now we are prepared for the His Precious Spirit to dwell in us and through us…. as He declared to all in John 7:37-39;’On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus Stood and cried out, saying, if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

But He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit  was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Again, His voice never ceases calling all to repent and believe in His death and resurrection life….. He never ceases calling His beloved to partake at His table and drink from His cup…. Holy Spirit is given to all who call on the name of the Lord and believe.

Holy Spirit is ready to teach, instruct, guide, comfort and reveal our King in His glory….. You going to jump in or what?  Our God is patient and kind as He is also a consuming fire……   He is knocking at your door, you going to let Him in?…….We are not the owners of this earth. He is and He is coming back to claim His…… Which side of Him are you going to be found?  Do you know if there is a tomorrow?   Do you know when your last day is?  He does….. For those who believe, if we are gone from this earth, we are with Him in glory…… Do you know where you will be found?  Will He know you?  He wants to know you but you must come to Him -His way…. through the sacrifice of His Son, through His blood and bowing at His cross. Then come beloved, and enter in  to the everlasting eternal God for knowing Him is eternal life……

Come on and jump in to the River of God……  Take a deep breath, repent.  Bend your knees to Your Savior and King. Then jump high and fly and  be caught by His Spirit into the adventures of our God……

We must not see the signs of the times around us and down play God trying to get our attention to turn to Him…… His signs confirms His Voice that has been muffled by idols and adulteries of  our hearts.  Let us turn and receive Him. Give glory to the King. Open up the gates!!!!

Take away the barriers to His reigning in our lives for we are the temple of the Living God.     Let the waters flow.  Believe in the impossible being possible…. Look up and see! God is our Medicine for this Day!  Let us eat of Him, for He is the Best Meal we will ever have and in His meal we are found full in Him…. Thank You Father, all we need we have found in You for You are our Medicine for the soul……by and in Christ Jesus our Lord!

I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His callimg, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all, ( Ephesians 1:15-23).

Father, we have quieted our souls and trust in You. We listen for Your quiet still Voice that thunders the earth with Your greatness. We ask for Your grace to be still, and listen. Thank You for Your Spirit to give us  Your strength we need to obey in living godly lives, holy and acceptable to You… You have given us all things and You are worthy to be praised.  In Jesus Christ’s name , we ask. We thank You and love You….. May our hearts be consumed  with the Spirit of Fire filling us in Your fullness of Life. Father, I pray we understand that we are complete in Your Son and are so humbled by Your Gift of Him to us and the nations.  Amen and Amen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Roman 8:28 speaks to us today: And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

All things- even the virus- all things work together for good…….Can we expect the goodness of God today in the land of the living? YES!!!!!! We must believe in His faithfulness.

Once I pretended to drop an envelope on a person laying in a hospital bed….. I asked, if I open my hand, will this piece of mail fall on your lap?  He said, of course it will.  Looking at me a little bewildered…..I asked, why? He said, because I know it will.  I asked again, why?   He answered, because of gravity.  I said, right,  you have experienced gravity first hand right?  He said, yes……. I said, well, God is the same way, we must know Him and experience Him…. He is your Healer because He is faithful to His promise to you and loves you so much He died for you. Trust Him and get to know Him….. Trust Him….. Love Him…. I always say, if you know God, you love Him…… if you love God, it is because you know Him.

It really does not matter where the virus came from other than the obvious, evil…….. The evil one will use who ever he can that is not a believer of Jesus Christ and our Father to do his destruction as written in John 10. Schemes and plans started by evil very early and will continue till the end of this age…… In this, we must know God and His faithfulness……… Through this, even some may be fooled they are doing great work for God, but they are far from Him…. As it is written in the Be Attitudes…… Matthew 7:21-23: Not everyone, who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?

And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.

Then we see in the Holy Writ in Hebrews 8:10-12, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

For I will be mericful to their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.

Hmmm, seems hard to understand the Holy Writ, huh?  Nope, let me show you….. He knows our hearts and the directions of our intents formed in our hearts.  If they are not earnestly living in Him.  He knows. We do not need to social distance from God!  It might be the problem that we have!  In this time, alcohol sales are up as well as other yuckie distractions—– Will they save you?  Just asking……Or put you in early living hell so you may then turn to the One who can save your soul.

It is sort of like, trying to take that one cookie that our moms told us not to eat because it would ruin our appetites for the real meal…… How did she know when we did not listen?  Could it be the chocolate stain on our lips and teeth? Well, He sees those agendas/ stains too written on our hearts….. He wants His Word written on our hearts….. We are His redeemed ones—- We are His….. His Word written on our hearts prove we are His or not.

I asked you if you partake?

I am asking when we eat at Lord’s Supper to go for His whole counsel…… We must add to our honoring His sacrifice and then make it our own.

When the Israelites celebrated the Passover, they put the blood of the lamb on the door posts to protect them from the angel of death….. Solomon also built a temple to worship the God of the universe……

It was an outside act of worship. Rules and regulations that were to be obeyed. The worship was observed on our outside person as the temple was also visible….. But God wanted our hearts, the outside was to show what was to be inside of our hearts…… But our hearts were dead until…… we were raised in Christ Jesus …… by our faith.

This worship in Israel was a type and shadow of the coming revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He was the Lamb slain and now by faith we apply His blood over us and- yes, in us… In us, when we drink His blood….. When we eat the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, symbolized in the little piece of bread, we are partaking of HIM.

We do not only celebrate His dying and resurrection and reception into heaven, we are also partaking all of Him to be in us and us in Him.

We partake of His strength, His Truth, His Spirit, His character.

We now worship Him in Spirit  and Truth as written in John 3….… We can only truly worship Him by abiding in His Word, Jesus Christ, by Holy Spirit and as we do….. then, the transformation happens putting His Word on our hearts.   Did you ever come to a situation, and you stopped to think a minute and ZOOM- the Word of God comes to your mind and is the perfect solution and answer to the dilemma you were facing?   This is revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ being alive in you and written on your hearts…… This means we know Him- not just a memorization- but it is written and been experienced by us, His people, He is alive in us.

This living relationship with Holy Spirit is soo cool. We learn that our hearts are not far away but so close that we feel His breath. We are not running here and there, but can stop and talk to Him.  He is right there listening and He always answers.  He will answer our time of fellowship. Come on taste and see the Lord of hosts and the Lord God of creation and the Uncreated One is so good and exciting.  He never leaves us or forsakes us.

Do you partake?   He does not want us to celebrate His death and resurrection and reception into heaven as a ritual…… How boring that would be if we gathered with our family around a meal and it was only ritual but no talking or joking or just sharing our day…..He wants relationship……HE IS ALIVE!!!!

Romans 12:1-2 speaks today to us: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of  your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The above scripture was not if you feel like it or when ever you get around to it type command……

By our obedience, we get to learn about Him…… and His sacrifice of love pouring forth on us. We learn of His timing, His ways and His majesty…. We really learn that there is none like Him.

As written in  1 John 2:15-17,: Do not love the world or the things in the world. I f anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Then, John helps us understand His purpose for us as written in 1 John 2:20-29: But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who the Father and the Son. 

Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 

Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

And this is the promise that He has promised us- eternal life.

These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

If you know that He is righteous, you know that every one who practices righteousness is born of Him.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, and we should be called the children of God!  Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.  Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies Himself,  just as He is pure.

I pray that we really understand the call that He has called us to learn of the unsearchable riches of Christ….. The truth that the Uncreated One wants us to be with Him 24/7 and Him with us 24/7 is inconceivable but is Truth…. So do we partake or what?

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; and that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe You sent Me. and the glory who You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me,  Jesus prayed after He had the Last Supper with His crew. Hey, do you think His prayer has been answered?

So, beloved, there are indescribable blessings to be explored and received from our God through His Son, Jesus Christ…… Our Lord…… Are we going to dig into His Deeper and Bigger Meal, or what?

Colossians 1:27 is our promise of  how we worship God now in Spirit and Truth: To them God willed to make known what are the riches of glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Let’s pray:

May we be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,                    ( Colossians 1:9-14).

As we are to have a restart, may it be a new holy restart.  We need God and His Spirit who dwells within us  to lead us into the best plan He has for us. May we take the next couple of days to turn to Him and see His plans for each of us to prosper.  He has great ideas and plans and strategies for each of us…. Let us partake!! He has it all mapped out, but we must be still, believe He is God and LISTEN! May we remember to give Him thanksgiving in keeping us safe and to lead us into this next stage of walking out His plan these coming days….. Hear this day as  He does speak to each of us……. Look up and believe He is here for us. Please let us look not to get things back to normal….. Let us allow Him to bring us to His plan which is greater and better.

There were millions of people walking through the wilderness in the middle east….. They had a leader who was called Moses.  Moses was known by God and man. God had met him in the wilderness tending sheep for forty years…. Then God instructed Moses to lead His millions of people from Egypt. He was to lead  them out of Egypt. They journeyed from Egypt to the land which God  had promised them generations ago.  This also took forty years.

God had instructed Moses to lead them a way so the people could learn about their God and His supply…..and His protection…..One condition was set by God:…..listen to My words and obey them.

So the journey was a long one. The people grumbled and complained against Moses and even God.  Now was it long because they grumbled and complained?  Just wondering….

God had supplied their water from a rock…… A trillion quail flew in and landed at their feet….. He even gave them something like a wafer every morning for their breakfast.  He gave them instructions on what they should and shouldn’t eat  for their own health protection……..

But they complained and spread contention through the camp against God and Moses……

One day, they really provoked God to anger….. He allowed serpents into the camp which bit the people…….They were dying from these serpents…..Let’s read what is written in Numbers 21-5-9: And the people spoke against God and Moses: Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food or no water, and our souls loathe this worthless bread.

So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the Lord said to Moses, make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it. He shall live.

So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

Did you know this symbol of the snake on a pole topped with wings  which represents medicine came from this? Isn’t that cool?

Paul admonishes us this day as when he sent this letter to the Corinthians:  1 Corinthians 10:1-14: Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all through the sea,

all were baptized into  Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock is Christ.

But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.

Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. 

And do not become idolaters as were some of them.  As it is written, the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty three thousand fell;

nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents;

nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition upon whom the end of  ages have come.

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but GOD is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation wll also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it. 

Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

There was a day when a learned man named Nicodemus met with Jesus at night……. I call him Nic at night. Anyway, Nic had planned to ask many questions from  this Jesus of Nazareth.  Check out the chapter yourself in  the Gospel of John chapter 3……..Jesus’ reply in verses 3:3-21 : Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus said to Him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?

 Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Nicodemus answered and said to Him, How can these things be?

Jesus said to him, You are the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?

Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that who ever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world. but that the world through Him would be saved. 

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

 

I love that conversation.   Jesus spoke to an avid learned man of God and totally got Nicodemus confused with the Truth.   Jesus came to be lifted up on the cross because our God so loves this world…….

Jesus came to take our punishment of idolatry, complaining, striving and living as unloving beings towards God and our neighbor. Most of all taking our own living breath for granted.

 

Look at verse 14–And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so the Son of Man must be lifted up……    

He was lifted up on the cross at Calvary. The place of the skull…. Crucified to take our thoughts, deeds and actions that were against God and man for us…..

And as we look to Him on the cross, and believe, we shall not perish but have everlasting life because of this GREAT GOD/MAN- named Jesus Christ.

This is where the symbol of medicine has it’s origin…… May we know and believe by every stripe He took on our behalf, we are healed…….

AS written in: 1 Peter 2:23-25: who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return, when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness- by whose stripes we are healed.

For you were like sheep going astray, but  have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls.

 

Our President and all his staff and the best doctors in the world , as well as, all our hospitals doctors and nurses and techs should be lifted up continuously in prayer for their sacrifice to help this country through this plague……

But I just wonder, if we all look to Him, who was lifted up on the cross with a crown of thorns and nails in His hands and feet  and slash from a sword on His side…….. If may be, we look to Him, who took all our sins on His shoulders so that  we may be healed and be in everlasting life, that the plague finds no empty host to attack.

Our God so loved this world in all it’s craziness and sent His Son to heal us and bring us into everlasting life today and tomorrow until He returns.  He knows our nature and made a way to escape the temptation of sinning against Him and ending in the lake of fire….. His Son, Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords…..

I pray we all look to Him who now sits at the right hand of the Almighty, but He gives us grace to see His eyes looking down at you from the cross, with so much love that we melt at His gaze….. So if, we receive this grace this day from His Spirit, we then will be given more to see the King who has been King over our lives, even though we thought we were……. Oh, the Truth be revealed to our hearts as this next week draws nigh…. May we see the Son was and is and is to come…… So we may fear Him and see Him and bow to Him…..

Repent America and be saved and healed.   Pray to the Lord of hosts to free us from this plague…..   The burden on our President and all his staff is enormous, please intercede for them.  Our government and hospitals are doing everything they can, interecede for them…….

This is a God problem and He has given us the Solution….. His name is Jesus Christ.  May we think of our King and His blood that was shed before we complain or point fingers of judgment…….Who knows if we bow our knee to the King of glory- a vaccine will made visible.. Do you or I know what God may do if we really humble ourselves and turn to Him as a nation? Let us look to the One who has been lifted up and pray.

May our Mighty God give us eyes to see His Son who suffered for you and me……..May we really live this week coming as a holy week,  ( holy simply means set apart to and for Him alone) .  As we draw near to Him, it is written He will draw near us…… And then, – may we see the miracles of His life touch our hearts, our minds and our bodies.

 

May we seek His Truth, the Son of Man whom He sent to us.- There is not one righteous but Him. We thank God for His Son and His mighty Spirit of Grace touching each one now……

 

Let us bow our heads and knees to the Mighty of One, the Holy One that hears our cries.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for our breath. We thank you for all You are and of Your great love.

We come to You, and repent. We turn from our wicked ways that are against You and Your word.

We apologize for our wicked hearts that do not want to be humble before You.

We ask for forgiveness of our actions and thoughts and disregard that are and were and will be against Your commands to love You with all we have and our neighbor as we love ourselves.

We believe that Your Son, Jesus Christ, took our iniquities and sins on Himself and received our punishment of death….. We believe and we will leave our life behind and grab hold to Your Everlasting Life. We ask Your Holy Spirit come now to dwell within us as as we believe we have been born again.

We ask Your Spirit as He comes to dwell within us and teach us Your ways…. Give us the Grace to live unto righteousness in all we do and say…. May we live for You and be living sacrifices unto You. May You be pleased by our faith as we learn all You have planned and have given us by Your Son.

In Jesus name, we ask this and thank You for Your hand leading us into everlasting life from this moment forward.

We love You and will worship You by our lives of love.

Happy Resurrection Day!!  May His grace permeate the hearts of every person in this world today…. Lord, I pray they see Your face and know Your hand of Love surrounds them.   Your perfect love casts out all our fear, so we come to learn and know Your never ending never failing love.

 

 

 

 

 

Ooops!  ! I think I meant knocking on your heart. Wait!  I am wrong…. Scripture reads!………..

The valley of decision is approaching everyone these days across the globe!   Our Lord and Savior is knocking on every door of every heart while we are waiting for the plague to die.  Hey, is He not the Resurrected One?  Hmmmm…..

Revelation 3:20: Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Are you going to let Him in? Are you going to let Him permeate your being?  What do you say?

But there is really more that He spoke to this era then the above scripture…… Let’s look at the whole story…. This is the last letter to the churches written by Jesus Christ  to the Laodicean church; Revelation 3: 14-22, And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

I know your works, that you are neither cold or hot.

So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked- 

I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich: and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent….

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come IN TO him and dine with him and he with Me.

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcome and sat down with My Father on His throne.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

This may seem harsh to a very feeling world right now…….But He is the Truth.  Jesus Christ is the Way.   Jesus Christ is Life.  This is what He sees…… This is what HE SEES!!!! AGAIN< THIS IS WHAT HE SEES……  HE LOVES US AND THIS IS WHAT HE SEES.

All authority has been given to Him and by His name, every name will bow.  All authority has been given unto Him.  For us to see as He does read the be attitudes – Matthew 5-7.  Learn the way of His heart and then we understand how His ways are right and mankind are upside down to His.

There is one written in the Word who Jesus met and took the scales out his eyes so he was not blind. However, he could see but he saw not as Jesus did!…… He had a real GOD moment that lasted three days….. We have a lot longer to be in His presence and allow His work by His Spirit to work in us….. If we allow and admit we are seeking the horizontal fix instead of the vertical.  Check out Acts 9….. and see how He calls His own to hear His Voice.

People have and will always try to discredit the messenger, but their discredit does not ever change HIS WORD OF TRUTH.  The Word of God is the only thing that will last forever all else will pass away….. If you do not believe me, check out the Word of God yourself……So if all else will pass away….. Where are we to be?   In Him, the Word of God!  Do you not see?  He is the Beginning of God’s creation…… In Him, we abide and in Him is the secret place hidden from all ages except from ours….. He is our revealing Savior in us and through us, we live and move and have our being.

Do you see now?…….Do you see and believe?  Then leave the wide highway behind and walk in the narrow holy way in Him….. Don’t be concerned, Holy Spirit will show you His way.   But pick up your cross and come.  Are you ready?  I pray you do not hesitate and miss your Holy God moment that He has designed for you today….. Turn to see the Voice spoken to you today….. He is worth it all and He is beyond what we can hope or imagine….. He is beyond compare…… Come and let Him in and open your heart…. Come and dine with Him….. Come and learn to see as He does!

It is wise to allow Him in at this time while the world has a pause. It is our choice if it is holy or mundane.   He is waiting for us to callout to Him. He is there knocking….. Can you hear Him?   I hear His footsteps approaching….. May we be silent as we allow the Uncreated One in.

Families have Him in their center. Husbands and wives are gazing in understanding His Wisdom which He has bestowed upon them.  Children are seeing this Great Gentle Man who has eyes of fire and a love that penetrates deep into their heart……  There is no television show that compares to His presence.

Turn off the world and tune into Him today…. Open the door to His heart and learn of His love.

He is the Healer of the Nations because He is the Desire of the Nations.

Look to see His Voice today. Be set in His presence and truth today! He is the Desire of the Nations….. I pray He is your Desire today!  I pray you may know how deep and wide and long and high His love is for you this day….. Because this is Truth!

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before the His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen, ( Revelation 1:4-7).

 

SELAH!! SELAH!!

Is really an opportunity in disguise.   Do not look to the south for our help or look to the west or the east.   We must believe we  will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living this day!!!!! This TODAY!!!

However, it is written in Hebrews 4:7-12,  again He designates a certain day, saying in David, Today, after such a long time, as it has been said: Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.

For is Joshua had given them rest, then  He would not afterward have spoken of another day.

There remains a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example if disobedience.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We live for the glory of God. We do not live unto ourselves or for ourselves. We gave up that right when we become sold out Jesus freaks, right?   You are sold out to His cause and fame and glory, right?   We have had the plumb line come into our hearts as the Word of God and have separated the flesh of the old man from the new born again man of our spirit, right?   We live for the eternal glory and things that are not seen….. We live as though they are seen, right?   Example, living before an Audience of One?  This has been accomplished in our hearts and minds as we are adapting to love God with all our mind, heart, soul, things and intents, right?  ( Command of God is my paraphrase).

We are voting this week, right?  We are seizing the day, right?  We are taking every opportunity we have in this land to live in and for righteousness, right?

We are not complaining but praying. We are:

I will lift up my eyes to the hills-from whence comes my help?

My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber or sleep.

The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.

The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

John 11:40, Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?

We are going to receive what we believe…… whether it is blessed or cursed…..by the  words of our mouth, we get what we believe…….Sooooo……. Watch what we say, right?   We as sold out Jesus radicals, say what He says and think as He thinks for we only do what Holy Spirit tells us…..right?  But when He comes will He find faith in the earth for Him?  Do we test our faith in trusting our God above all circumstances and see things as He does?

Opportunity knocks for we are living in the days of Elijah…..There is great famine and sword and pestilence but we have GOD.  Do we really believe things happen so He may turn what evil means for harm into a God opportunity for His glory and all turn to Him this day?

Do we believe as written in Luke 10 as Jesus spoke to the apostles that He is also speaking to us today?  Luke 10:16-24; He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying Lord, even demons are subject to us in your name.

 And He said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 

Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, I thank You, Father, Lord  of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for it seemed good in Your sight.

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son will reveal to Him.

Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear and have not heard.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, (Hebrews 13:8).

So If our Savior and King is the same as His Words are the same and will last forever, for He is the Word of God….. Then we are to take His Words as our only foundation of life, correct?

This means as Jesus spoke to us in the Be Attitudes in Matthew  7:24-27: Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.

I hope we haven’t been busy to be seen rather before the Audience of One to know Him and our faith in His greatness stifled.

He knows our hearts and our dealing with others.   He knows everything……

But in knowing Him and learning to love Him all the more with all we have….. We are given eyes to see all that He sees…. He is telling us to turn back to Him – TODAY!

Will we who are busy about everything but Him?

Do we know no harm can come to us?  Do we know as written in 2 Corinthians 13- that Jesus Christ lives in us?   Do we know how Christ in us is our ONLY REAL hope of glory…… As written in John 12, men wanted to please and be known by others rather to get their glory from the Lord alone.   What means more?

I rather have God know me and have the glory be His and be close as a little child at His feet watching His every move……and asking WHY?  Explain and give me understanding, please, Sir.  But that is me and that is you too?  GREAT!!

I pray we live and move and have our being in Him and from that knowledge, we may know at HIS NAME every knee has to bow….. Every.

His blood covering us is stronger than any disease, sickness for He is our Jehovah Rapha.

His Name is above every name and every name and knee must bow…..to the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

So let us do some math….. If every name must bow to the name of Jesus Christ,  and Jesus Christ lives in us……. Does that mean that He has quickened our mortal body as written in Romans 8:11?

God is powerful and mighty through the tearing down of strongholds…..even our unbelief……

WHO ARE WE LISTENING TO?

Arise, o mighty men and women of God, and live this day quickened in and by  His mighty Spirit.  Seize this Day!  For it is the Lord’s doing and mighty in our eyes.

Know the Lord and His Name is above every name. STAND STRONG AND SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING.

May we turn our hearts in repentance in our unbelief and allowing other voices to enter where He alone should have the SPOTLIGHT.

May we turn to Him in repentance and fasting from the world….. May we stand in Him- strong in our faith in Him..  Allowing His Spirit to flood the atmosphere of hearts…. May we be the catalyst for the Spirit’s governing in our land.

Raise high the mighty name of Jesus Christ- THERE IS NO ONE LIKE JEHOVAH.  Where is our trust placed in? Bank account or our EL SHADDAI?   Where is our health and resurrection life come from?  Our healthcare system or Jehovah Rapha? Who is our faith in?  Where is our faith?

WHO IS GOD TO US THIS DAY?  WHO RULES US THIS DAY?  GOD OR MAN?

WHERE DO WE LOOK TO THE HILLS WHERE OUR HELP COMES FROM OR CNN?

As for me and my house- My help and protection is from the Lord Almighty- Holy holy is He….. There is no God but My Jehovah.

In His mercy, His refreshing may be in our hearts, if we hear and turn this day to Him and stay there…… Do not go back from where you have come from- the world and its ways will drive the fear and no satisfaction in to our hearts until death and hopelessness reigns it’s ugly head.

YOUR CHOICE======= God who is mighty to save or the world.

Know that is the Days of Elijah.

Let the Lord God Almighty rule and reign in our hearts……He is our strength and our refuge and our mighty strongtower…. He is strong in knocking down false strongholds…..May we know Him as well as He has apprehended us to Him.

Children,

He is waiting for us to turn back to Him this day….. I pray we hear His voice calling us TODAY.

Fear is a tool of the evil one so we may feel God is not here or will not answer your prayer…..Is it not written in Matthew 7:7, Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you?….. He is  I AM that I AM.

Listen and watch, He will answer you…. I promise…. He never lets us down or disappoints….. He loves our faith in Him…. He loves to show off…. Let us give Him a chance to show off this day….. But first, let us repent and ask His forgiveness on our unbelief and spilling of innocent blood.

May we turn the hearts of the fathers and sons and mothers and daughters to the Lord God Almighty this Day……

The Spirit of God comes in also like a Wave of resurrection power if we believe and turn to Him this day… Turn and stay and do things His way.  Look and see the goodness of our God in the land of the living. TODAY!!
