About the Author

Irene K. Navis enjoys her retirement season of life by sharing her time with family and friends, preserving family memorabilia and history, reading historical fiction, and making road trips. She taught junior high and high school English and Math for four years, and then focused on raising her children for the next fifteen. For twenty-six years, she worked as CFO and Regulatory VP at Janin Group Inc, a medical device company founded by her husband John. The mother of five and grandmother of thirteen resides in Oswego IL.
