The art and desire to put words and thoughts to paper came late in the life of this author. Having been born in Kentucky, choosing Nursing as her life mission was a way of reaching out and helping others. A 2-year contract as an Air Force nurse afforded her the opportunity to meet the man of her dreams whom she married, and a life of adventure began. In retirement years, journaling became a passion. It began by day journaling the trips she would take, then writing short stories or vignettes. This book is a first endeavor to incorporate stories, telling the story of a man who was a force in her life.
