At the age of ten, she developed a lifelong obsession with Ancient Egypt and is now working towards a PHD in Egyptology at the University of Manchester. Her particular interest is King Tutankhamun, whom she has studied most thoroughly. Despite this interest in Egyptology, she also has a love of fantasy, which has followed her for her whole life.
