The book is centered on a mother and daughter relationship which is played out through the energies and influence on each character of the mythical beings, Medusa and Athena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two archetypes inform the human characters, coloring their attitudes toward each other and the world they live in which covers the late 1950’s to the 1970’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is considerable inquiry into the nature of memory and identity, on enslavement and agency.
While this may sound a bit academic, in the actual reading I am wanting to engage with the reader and get them wondering about some of the aspects of the human condition I write about – My tone is frank and inviting – this was what I aimed for anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
