Because of studying about different countries in school, I told my family growing up that I would one day visit these places. My dad would talk about his experiences of what happened to him in the United States Marine Corps. They were exciting and funny, yet some seemed farfetched, but that was his story. However, this is mine.

Being raised in a Christian home, I was taught the Christian lifestyle. Once, I joined the military for one purpose but stayed for another. During my travels and experiences dealing with different countries and cultures, God was there to protect me despite my being reckless with the gift of life and the lives of others, womanizing, drinking, and partying.

Like Adam, I followed my wife; like Sampson, I relied on my strength; like Peter, I denied Christ; but like Paul, I saw the errors of my ways. I pray that those who read this book will find out that you will find redemption in the everlasting loving Father, no matter your circumstance.
