Donald Rilla is a retired psychiatric social worker and a forensic fellow. He spent 35 years working in the criminal justice field—working in a maximum security mental hospital, performing competency to stand trial evaluations, supervising insanity acquittees, director of a drug court, clinical coordinator of a crisis unit, and working with drug addicts. He is a founding member of NOFSW and authored the “Code of Ethics.”
Mr. Rilla was a past president of NOFSW and the Academy of Forensic Social Work. He has presented numerous times at major conventions on a wide variety of forensic issues.
