Kurt Turner accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior before his teenage years. But no single event brought him to God as did that night of December 27, 1967, aboard the USS Repose. Thirty-two years later, that same singular event led him into an even much greater purpose when, as he was returning from “the Wall,” that “small, still voice” called him into the ministry after a life of turmoil. The PTSD from which he suffered all those years would be culminated into an understanding of what God’s purpose was for him.
