About the Author

Alexander Mirza has over 25 years’ experience as a senior executive in Fortune 500 companies and a private equity and venture backed entrepreneur. He has advised heads of state, leaders of international organizations and non-profits on nearly every continent in the areas of competitive strategy, economic development, climate change, technology innovation and human capital creation.

He received his MBA from Harvard Business School where he was awarded the John A. McArthur Fellowship for Canadians. He holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Queen’s University at Kingston (Canada), where he was an Aga Khan Foundation Scholar and President of the International Affairs Association. Alexander was recognized as one of Canada’s Top International Executives under 40 by Canadian Business Magazine and awarded Toronto’s Mayor Volunteer Creed for his work assisting new immigrants. He has published in the areas of artificial intelligence, economic globalization, human capital, hospitality and tourism development and international peace and security.
