William G. Howard

William G. Howard grew up in historic Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he often walked in the footsteps of the founding fathers. Mr. Howard went on to complete an internship at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania writing journal articles about historic landmarks including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the City Tavern, and Germantown Academy.

Howard began writing science fiction in high school with stories being published in the literary journal, the Mirror, of Central High School. However, he ended up teaching for 20 years with the Philadelphia School District. He retired in 2012 after a successful teaching career and now spends time with his wife Bonnie. In 2021, Mr. Howard published his second novel, Marigold through Archway Publishing, a division of Simon and Schuster. Mr. Howard is currently working on the sequel to his first novel, the Eye of Hermes. He comes together with the Neshaminy Writers Group and the South Jersey Writers Group.

Howard’s fascination with storytelling has existed since childhood. Along with his sister, he often wrote and performed short plays for friends. After graduating from Temple University, William worked as a teacher for the School District of Philadelphia for twenty years before semi-retiring in 2013 to devote himself to writing. William joined the Bucks County Writers Group and began working in earnest on his first novel, The Eye of Hermes: A Minerva Novel, available at www.barnesandnoble.com and www.amazon.com/author/howardwilliam.

Howard is delighted with the publication of The Sword of Aeschylean: A Minerva Novel to partner with Archway Publishing. He continues to work on his novels and spend time with his beloved wife, Bonnie, in their Philadelphia home.
